Caravan Logistics LLC
Effective Date: September 30, 2026
Last Updated: September 30, 2026
This State-Specific Privacy Information supplements the Caravan Logistics LLC Privacy Policy.
“Caravan,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Caravan Logistics LLC.
Privacy rights depend on your residence, the context in which information is processed, whether a law covers Caravan, and applicable exemptions. The descriptions below do not extend a statute beyond its legal scope or reduce rights provided by another applicable law.
1. Exercising Your Rights
Submit a request to privacy@caravanlogisticsllc.com with the subject “Privacy Request.”
Identify your residence, relationship with Caravan, the relevant information or activity, and the right you wish to exercise. Avoid including passwords or full government or financial account numbers.
Depending on applicable law, rights may include:
- Confirming whether personal information is processed and accessing that information.
- Obtaining information about collection, use, disclosure, and relevant recipients.
- Correcting inaccurate information.
- Deleting covered information.
- Receiving an eligible portable copy.
- Opting out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling.
- Limiting particular uses or disclosures of sensitive information.
- Appealing a denied request.
The scope of each right varies. Authentication, authorized-agent rules, exceptions, and response periods follow applicable law.
Caravan will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against an individual for exercising an applicable privacy right.
2. California Residents
As of this notice’s effective date, Caravan does not meet the business coverage thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”).
The CCPA rights described below apply only if Caravan becomes subject to that law and the information concerned is covered. Other California privacy requirements may apply independently of CCPA coverage.
CCPA Rights Where Applicable
Covered individuals may have rights to know and access personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit qualifying uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information. Covered employment and business-contact information is not excluded merely because of that relationship. California Privacy Protection Agency guidance
California “sharing” includes qualifying cross-context behavioral advertising. The sensitive-information limitation right concerns uses beyond legally permitted purposes.
Where CCPA applies, requests to know, correct, or delete generally require acknowledgment within 10 business days and a response within 45 calendar days, subject to a permitted additional 45 days with notice. Applicable opt-out and limitation requests must be completed as soon as feasible, within 15 business days. California privacy regulations
Opt-out and limitation requests do not require identity verification. Recognized opt-out preference signals have the effect required by applicable law.
The Privacy Policy describes Caravan’s information categories, sources, purposes, recipients, and retention criteria. If CCPA coverage begins, additional legally required disclosures and request methods apply.
California Online Privacy Information
The Privacy Policy describes Website information, recipient categories, third-party technologies, the email process for review and correction requests, and notification of material changes. California’s online privacy disclosure requirements can apply independently of CCPA business thresholds. California Business and Professions Code §22575
3. Colorado Residents
Where the Colorado Privacy Act covers Caravan and your information, eligible consumers may access, correct, delete, and obtain portable information, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling.
The Act generally excludes employment and commercial contexts, including job applications.
Applicable requests generally receive a response within 45 days, with a permitted 45-day extension. Appeals generally receive a response within 45 days; a necessary extension may add 60 days with notice and reasons. Recognized universal opt-out mechanisms apply where legally required. Official Colorado Privacy Act
4. Utah Residents
Where Utah’s Consumer Privacy Act covers Caravan and your information, eligible consumers may confirm processing, access information, request correction, and opt out of sale or targeted advertising.
Utah’s deletion right concerns information the consumer provided. Its portability right also concerns provided information and is subject to statutory conditions.
Utah’s comprehensive privacy law does not provide the same general appeal or profiling opt-out rights described for certain other states. Utah consumer-rights provisions effective July 1, 2026
5. Virginia Residents
Where the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act covers Caravan and your information, eligible consumers may confirm processing, access, correct, delete, and obtain portable information.
They may also opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Requests generally receive a response within 45 days, subject to a permitted 45-day extension. Appeals receive a written response within 60 days. A denied appeal includes information about submitting a complaint to the Virginia Attorney General.
The law generally excludes employment and commercial contexts. Virginia consumer-rights provisions
6. Texas Residents
Where the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act covers Caravan and your information, eligible consumers may confirm processing, access, correct, delete, and obtain portable information, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling.
Requests generally receive a response within 45 days, subject to a permitted 45-day extension. Appeals generally receive a response within 60 days.
Coverage depends on the Act’s requirements and exemptions. Certain sensitive-data obligations can apply to small businesses even when broader requirements are exempt. Recognized opt-out mechanisms apply where required by law. Texas Attorney General guidance
7. Residents of Other States
Other states may provide additional or similar rights, subject to their respective coverage rules, exemptions, and definitions.
You may submit a request identifying your state and the right you wish to exercise. Your request will be evaluated under the law applicable to Caravan and the information involved.
Comprehensive consumer privacy laws often distinguish personal or household activity from employment and business activity. Separate employment, transportation, health, financial, biometric, communications, or other laws may protect information outside a comprehensive consumer privacy statute.
8. Verification, Exceptions, and Fees
We may request information reasonably necessary to authenticate a request, locate records, or confirm an agent’s authority, as permitted by applicable law.
Verification is not required where the law prohibits it. An opt-out request may require enough information to identify the processing concerned without requiring a full identity verification process.
Legal exceptions may permit or require retention, including for transportation and employment recordkeeping, security, fraud prevention, legal claims, and other statutory obligations. Responses must also protect another person’s information and legally protected material.
Requests are ordinarily handled without charge. Any fee or refusal must be permitted by applicable law and explained as required.
9. Appeals and Complaints
Where an applicable law provides an appeal right, email privacy@caravanlogisticsllc.com with the subject “Privacy Request Appeal.”
Identify the original request and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.
Appeals will be addressed within the period required by the applicable law. Where required, a denied appeal will include information about contacting the appropriate Attorney General or regulator.
Nothing in this notice limits an available right to submit a complaint to a competent authority.
